THE SOLUTION FOR COMPLEX TERRAINS
We all know the importance of having an access as placid as possible when working at height. Even more when the land and work areas have difficulty terrains, because of the weather or other reasons.
Mecaplús self-leveling system, did largely solve this problem by allowing to save rises up to 30%, thanks to an innovative self-leveling system that level the chassis of the platform, both statically and dynamically, allowing a continuous on-line work because it keeps us always within safe limits, completely eliminating the use of stabilizing means (such as feet, shoes, etc..) and eliminating the risk of overturn of the platform.
But... what can we do if the ground slopes in addition, doing work even more complicated because of other adversities, such as the weather?
The fact that a given area, present this adverse weather conditions, such as the excessive moisture from the surface, the weak surface, the existence of mud or snow, creating slippery ground and therefore dangerous to the machines, requires actions and elements adapted to these unusual circumstances, to minimize as much as possible the risks inherent in carrying out the work in these conditions.
Mecaplús, as always, faces the problems by offering solutions that respond to the needs of customers and users of platforms. Thus, Mecaplús developed the only platform on the market capable of making both sets of standard wheels or rubber tracks. The rubber tracks began to be used for many years in the army, war, because they needed vehicles, particularly tanks, which could save any land, regardless of the composition of the surface on they should move, even the most extreme, and not remain "knocked out" by external causes, although it sounds simple little things, such as a muddy field that could determine their plans and objectives. The rubber tracked displacement system prints a stronger and a better grip with the surface of the vehicle, allowing it to move without a hitch on any terrain.
So, the Mecaplús self-levelling platform ME16SL, as well as incorporating a more powerful engine Deutz, can be built with rubber tracks for anything or anyone stop us from working successfully in any field, although this is the most extreme.
Last ME16SL platform built with rubber tracks.
First Mecaplus machines built with rubber tracks.
